How does water damage affect flooring?

A broken pipe burst in this home and caused a lot of floor damage. Water can affect flooring in different ways and are addressed by our certified and trained technicians.
Wood Floors - This flooring can soak up a lot of water and can be saved if mitigated quickly.
Tile Flooring - Tile is easy to clean and disinfect because it is non-porous.
Laminate Floors - These floors peel easily with water and will have to be replaced.
Linoleum Floor - As long as the water does not get underneath the linoleum it can be saved. Once it penetrates the edges of the floor it will have to be replaced.

Carpets, like this home, can be saved if mitigated properly and quickly. It is important to extract all water properly and then completely dry the pad and the carpet.
